I don't think you are getting the latest set of transmitters. The list I have is:
Mode U/V Voice Mod V APRS Mode V/V FM (Crew R1) Mode V/V FM (Crew R2+3) Mode U APRS Digi Mode V/U FM Voice VHF-2 Soyuz Communication - FMN VHF-1 Soyuz Communication - FMN TEMP Off-Frequency SSTV Mode V/V APRS Tanusha FM Tomsk-TPU-120 CUCU (SpaceX COTS UHF Communication Unit) Soyuz / Orlan space suit Mystery transmitter 137.6257 ISS CCSDS Data 1 Mode V Imaging Mode V/U FM - Voice Repeater [this is the new repeater pair]
I am running Ubuntu 18.04, and Gpredict 2.3.57-2d80

Hi Paul, Roy,
Interesting. I'm not seeing all those options. The fetch of the transmitters.json seemed to work (file with today's time stamp found in ~/.config/Gpredict/trsp). Deleted it, and re-fetched. No change.
Are there too many entries for all to be displayed, or is something else stale in my config, preventing the updated file from being applied? I don't have (or don't think I have) any utilities to edit the file, to clear out the now-unused entries. I can't post a screen shot here, but the pull-down for the mode only includes the following (in this order):
- Mode V/V AFSK Packet
- Mode V/U FM Voice
- Mode V APRS
- Mode V Imaging
- Mode U/V FM Voice
- Mode V/V FM (crew R2+3)
- Mode V/V FM (crew R1)
- Tomsk-TPI-120 - Deployed in outer space
- Mode U APRS Digi
- Soyouz Communication - FMN
- Tanusha FM
Mode V/U FM Voice is the closest, but with the wrong uplink frequency.

Greg,
This is sourced through the SatNOGS database. It looks like the proper transmitter is listed as Mode V/U FM - Voice Repeater:https://db.satnogs.org/satellite/25544#transmitters

Hi folks,
Does anyone know if there is a way to update Gpredict's "Transponder" database for the new ISS cross-band repeater? The program can download a JSON blobby-thing from the Internet with all the transponders included, but the Mode V/U FM Voice information for the ISS is for the old radio (145.800 up, instead of 145.990).
I can temporarily override the setting in the Radio Control screen, but it reverts back to the un-altered information from time to time, which is rather annoying.
Thanks,
