Hi all, I got 3 good passes in today (all in sunlight). The first was interesting. The satellite must have been tumbling still as the signal was up and down (this is not unusual).
In a single pass though I'm sure I got 'high power' telemetry, then it suddenly died, followed by 'low power' telemetry. The satellite was in Sunlight the entire time.
I would say the battery is not even acting as a capacitor anymore. The unit must have made a power decision as it rotated through different sunlight angles perhaps?
However indeed it is still working.

Over the past couple of days I've heard ARISSat once. Even on the really high passes (up to 27° on the highest ones) there's just been not a cheep out of it. It must be in full daylight, too.
Has anyone else heard it? I notice my tweetly noise is still there on 145.919MHz, still no idea what that is. It seems weaker today, but maybe that's a weather thing.
