I concur. I have bought and still have a supply that I acquired from Texas Tower and the price including shipping was reasonable.

I ordered a few dozen 6 foot lengths a couple of years ago and use it for rugged cheap yagis. Works great!

Hi,
I have already done the Google, but was wondering if anyone can recommend a good source of aluminum rods in small quantities for use in antennas? In particular, 3/16" round stock, made of what is usually referred to as aircraft T-5 or T-6 aluminum. The local sources so far have turned out to be rather soft alloys rather than the springy stuff used in beams, etc. And of course any firm with the word "aircraft" in the name wants 10-20X times the price.
