Hugh,
Wow-thanks for making us aware we’ve lost Frank.
My experience has been that I’d give my call on a quiet transponder many many times and Frank would say “Well hello Mike”... followed by a nice QSO that made getting on the birds feel to me like you’re “Where everybody knows your name” (to steal an old TV show theme) which was enjoyable to me.

Thanks, Mike

That is sure sad to hear. I have had many satellite QSOs over the years with Frank. Thanks Hugh for letting the AMSAT community know.

I just received the sad news that my friend Frank, K4FEG has become a silent key. Frank mentored my in satellite operations many times and I will miss him dearly. Please keep his wife and family in your prayers at this most difficult time. RIP Frank. See you on the other side.
