Hello Dick, the special program version for in-band operation over the ISS - SatPC32ISS - unfortunately doesn't support the FT-817 (see SatPC32ISS menu "?", "SatPC32ISS"). So, try the "normal" SatPC32. Make sure that the FT-817 display shows VFOa. If it displays VFOb click button "A" below the display to change the VFOs. Then select the ISS. The display should now show the RX frequency of the first entry for the ISS in Doppler.SQF. During TX the uplink frequency should be displayed.
I have tested that with my FT-817 and it seems to work. My settings: CAT Baudrate 38400, CAT delay 110, all options in menu "Radio Setup" unchecked. the radio switched to Split mode.

I am getting a problem with SatPC32 V. 12.8b and CAT control FT-817ND. The doppler correction is perfect with two separate FT-817s, one for TX and one for RX. Recently I have been having problems when using one FT-817 simplex for ISS and similar sats. SatPC32 is calculating correct downlink frequency with doppler correction but is setting the rig to the uplink frequency during receive and downlink frequency during transmit. Sometimes it works correctly but more often it has this problem. I slowed the CAT rate in case there were errors but no improvement. Any ideas or suggestions please?
