Hello –
I have a pair of FT-991A that I use, and as of 6 months ago both radios were working with SatPC32.
I’ve been off the air for a while, and over the weekend went to fire up my radios, and I get an error message (enclosed) “Switch in the radio before you start the program. If it was on click OK to shut SATPC32. Switch the radio off, then
restart SatPc32. The program will now be closed”
I can see the radios on com4 and com9, and HRD can access and control them. I have not added any com ports, and com4 and com9 is where the radios were according to my old notes when it was working.
Because I cannot run SatPC32, I can’t see any settings, and searching for that particular error message didn’t yield anything.
It is worth noting that if you start SATPC32 with the radio’s off from a cold boot, it complains that COM4 is not available, closes the program, and then generates the above-referenced error message again.
I’m hoping someone has previous experience with this and can help me get back in the air!
