All,
this is indeed very sad ... last time I was in touch with John was about 1 year ago when he posted a request for contributions for the Sounds from Space collection in Radcom.
Also at that time he even extracted himself some old recordings from his old files and sent them to me.
He was very kind and we certainly will miss him.
Dear John, rest in peace.

All, this is very hard to write, but his family has just told me that my good friend John Heath, G7HIA succumbed to cancer and passed away last night. They asked me to tell his amateur radio friends here and I know that amsat-uk have also been told. I'l leave it to others to complete his obituary, but I will always remember his passion for satellites and the cosmos, his patience in explaining and teaching others, his companionship and friendship, and our various contacts particularly with Russia. andy G0SFJ _______________________________________________ Sent via AMSAT-BB@amsat.org.
