[amsat-bb] Portable operation from travel trailer/truck camper

I've about completed Mark Spencer's WRAPS (tricked out version) AZ/EL rotator system. And I plan to use it with my small travel trailer or truck camper with my IC-9700......whenever IT GETS HERE!

My question: should I set up a small extendable mast (I have several fiberglass sections of MGS mast left over from my permanent mast setup) I can mount to the trailer/camper?

Or should I go with a tripod setup?

Suggestions?
