The primary question about a box is how quiet electrically the unit is. Most such units generate at least a minor amount of RF, and it is most easily filtered at the source in a metal box.

PS. Dayton was indeed great. I worked software, and people kept getting distracted looking at the LVB tracker!
Anyone bring the J4 buttons signals out to pushbuttons on the front panel of their trackers? They are sorta redundant if the tracker is located close to the rotor control box.
Plastic or metal box??? Willing to pay extra for metal???
Trying to determine what is generally acceptable for a box design.
