If you have a smartphone, one could also record it using a smartphone app "Voice Recorder" or something similar instead of having to go out and buy a small tape recorder. If you want to use your headphones, you can use one of these to hook it up. http://www.ebay.com/itm/390837998302 Either way, it's all fun! 73, -Rob KI4BKE OSCAR Satellite Communications Achievement Award #465, 14 May 2008 South African AMSAT Award #US-122, 14 May 2008

Hi Steve, a workaround for this in lieu of pencil and paper is a small cassette recorder (commonly used for dictation). They are all over ebay or other sites cheap. You can just stick it in your shirt pocket and it will record your voice speaking to the station you are working (incl the call sign). You could also get fancy and plug it into your receive Baofeng and record that way
Good luck and 73, Ted K7TRK
