Hi Michael
If you are after something online, there is quite a lot of coverage of the Neston UK contact of 2003 at http://www.g6lvb.com/Neston/ index.htm We were very greatful for those clips in preparing our recent contact (Teven-Tintenbar Primary School, Aug 06). We are equivalent to elementary school.
We have a DVD of our own contact including preparation, kids interviews and other action on the night which I can mail you if that helps.
We found that the enthusiasm and excitement took a long time to build. People 'understood' but didn't really understand. The excitement didn't appear until well into the process, at least 9 months after application to ARISS. On the basis of my limited experience of only running one of these, I'd suggest get permission, make the application, get in the ARISS queue and get excited later.
If you want nail-biting drama, do it as direct contact, with 400 people present, with a low power backup transmitter in use on the ISS, on a low elevation pass, the week after another contact has failed for unexplained reasons.
Don't hesitate to do it - all well worth it,

Has anyone have or know of such a lengthy and detailed video clip coverage of an ISS program, like this, but in an English speaking school?
I would like to get my children's elementary school excited about the idea and nothing works better than a video.
