Anyone interested in trying some contacts on AO-7 mode A? The transponder has been in great shape the last couple of times I worked it but no luck catching anybody on there. Just an occasional whistle or cw paddle of someone trying to find their signal. I am in DM04 and can work the bird consistently in that mode on passes 25 degrees elevation or more.
Hi Will,
I noticed that AO-7 was in Mode A yesterday and was able to call CQ (CW) with no takers. Looks like it might still be in that mode for the rest of today, but I'll check the beacon at 29.502 to be sure.
If you're available for the the 22:24Z pass today, take a listen around 29.450 for my CW CQ.
