Tony,
WiSP will work with a KISS TNC (NONE) but you will need to configure it manually. Things like full duplex, 9600 baud, the monitor function, etc. I know of one other person who has been trying to get that to work, but so far has not had success. Perhaps someone here who uses a hardware TNC rather than software can give you a list of parameters to set?
