I don't think it was AMSAT-BB that was hacked. Email headers can easily be set to almost anything, but the Sender you mentioned does not even mention amsat.org in the email address. Here is what I see for you:

Check the original email headers for the email, in particular, any received headers and see if anything actually appears to be going through amsat.org. Better than that, see if the bogus emails are actually in the thread list on amsat.org:

The subject line was something I started last month. The word "virus" appended to subject line on two of these by AVG.
