Silly question?
Are you sure that it is the Yaesu motor that failed and NOT the bearings?
I must ask because I saved a bundle when I had to replace the bearings a few years ago. I took the opportunity to clean out the inside of the housing and repack the bearings with LOW TEMPERATURE grease.
The rotators have been working like in mint condition ever since!
