Rick, suggest checking the files section of the Yahoo TS2000 Group. Since this issue is described in the manual (ie 'designed in'), I think it is there forever. I'm not aware of a fix or that firmware updates fixed anything

I'm contemplating trading a IC-7300 for a TS-2000. I need a backup radio for satellites and EME. Are there any issues you users know about the 2000 vintage 2002? Was it plagued with birdies in the sat passband?
