I'll take a shot at this:
You can, by SatPC32 settings, limit the movement to 90 deg elevation. That will prevent what many of us call "180 flip mode" or some variant.
Now to limit to 85 deg?? I bet if you use a setting of either time interval (increase it...) or Position change (increase it) you'll end skipping most of the 85-90 operations, most of the time... Is it absolute? Probably not.
Now, if the controller is configured to only go to 85 deg, I suspect it would ignore any values above 85...so just rely on the hardware/controller and not SatPC32.
Best I can offer up...

I had this question posted to me, and I can't seem to figure out if it is possible.
.I want my rotator to stop at about 85 Deg elevation and not go to 90 ,
100 , 110 etc etc but to rotate on its asmith by >180 deg and then start to drop elevation from 85 Deg..
I know that the rotor interface unit, ERC can be limited via it's service tool software, but I wasn't sure how SatPC32 would react to the interface unit limiting it.
