John,
Nice to know, I don’t have yet feedback from our portable team but hope that they have contacted GB2GP.
QO-100 is really a nice tool for the Jamboree to promote the HAM cause with 24/7 propagation as it makes the event much more easy to demonstrate the hobby.
I hope that next year we have more QO-100 stations on the air.

Hi Jean Marc,
We too had a number of scouts on QO-100 over the weekend, both on narrow-band SSB, and wide-band DATV. We were at GB2GP, home of Scouting in the UK, at Gilwell Park!

FYI,
Yesterday, the Mauritius Amateur Radio Society (MARS) portable team enabled many young Scouts of the Mauritius Scout Association (MSA) to communicate with other Scouts around the World on QO-100 GEO satellite. seehttps://3b8mars.org/2024/10/21/jota-2024/ seehttps://3b8mars.org/2024/10/21/jota-2024/
Great moments to encourage our youngsters to HAM radio.
