I use the U12 with SatPC32 (Windows 10, Vista, 8) and it works great.  The U3-HV would also work but take a look at what the analog input range specs are.  The U3-HV and U12 are good for +/-10V but the U3-LV is good for +/-2.4V.  I have the Yaesu G-5400B and the azimuth and elevation pots use 0 to 5V, so you would be overduty for the U3-LV.
 
I suppose if you built up some sort of voltage divider circuit or readjusted the pots on the control box to make sure the analog input voltage was within range, then it might work.  But who knows what voltage drop you would get once you hooked up the rotor control cables.  Short runs, maybe.  Not so sure for long runs.
