I´ve used the F6 to work the SSB birds (including the AO-40) as a receiver from a mobile station:

I have a friend, Joe KJ4JIO, who is looking for his first HT to use for FM satellites. He is looking at the Kenwood TH-F6A and the Yaesu VX7R.
