Yes I know how fustrating it was in pre-ISS days when the Shuttle was
launched into low inclination orbits - little chance of hearing it up in the northern countries such as the UK. But it should give Amateurs in many developing countries a chance to to work the sats using simple equipment and those countries are the future for Amateur Radio.
It's really encouraging to see that the Indonesian national society ORARI
and AMSAT-ID have been so successful in working with their national space institute. Lets hope they have a successful launch.
