I also found the ICOM-910 lacking a keying output for a POWER AMP. AND, I think it is a good idea. Scott Townley's response is definitely the reason. A sequencer must be used to get the correct keying delay for the PWR AMP or you can kiss your preamp good buy. The sequencer fires the PWR AMP and PRE AMP at appropriate times to ensure that you don't blow the PRE AMP. I use the SSB Electronics sequencer and key it with a connection from my DESK MIKE.

I wish to switch my amp and pre amps when using the Icom 910H
Is their any way of having a switching line the changes when the rig goes into TX I have read the manual and checked the sockets on the back of the rig but can't see an aux switching line or voltage change or anything that I could use.
Dose anyone have any advice or achieved what I wish to do
