The TM-D710 can do full duplex with it's internal TNC. Include "FU ON" in the KISS initialization string (which essentially just turns off DCD sense).
I plan to attempt this with my TH-D72 either tonight or later this weekend. The TH-D7A will do full duplex in standalone APRS mode, but not in packet mode.

Has anyone used the Kenwood TS-710 series radios with their internal TNC's to work Falconsat or any of the Pacsats of the past? I believe it has full-duplex capability, but I'm not sure if the internal TNC can be active on both VHF and UHF.
If it does meet this criteria, then the only thing to do would be to connect the rig to a PC running Wisp. Talk about plug-n-play!
