Drew, I'm confused, at least as to the uplink info. Are you saying the only V/U operation will now be 145.88/435.150? The web site is showing both that one and 145.920/435.300 ???
As for the 'operating practices' you describe, you should listen more. That is SOP on AO51 for many, many operators, unfortunately.

The AO-51 repeater uplink was switched to 145.88 on the 2215 pass tonight. I realize there are multiple grid dxpeditions out and about, but that does not excuse some of the operating I heard tonight. If another station is in the middle of a QSO, stand by and let them finish. If you start to transmit and can't hear yourself, or you hear someone else in the downlink, stop transmitting and let them make the call. Finally, if you've worked that grid, or that station, or that country, how about taking a breather and letting someone else work it for a new one.
