Hi Clint,

What contact were you trying to listen to?

There is always one idiot.

Subject: [AMSAT-BB] Online Behavior

While listening to a live broadcast of an attempted ARISS contact this morning, I was thoroughly embarrassed by a fellow ham in the chat room who was making smart ass comments. Things like, "Hey did you check your system beforehand?"  and "Maybe you have the wrong antenna on the wrong feed line." It was insulting to not only the ham crew who set it up, but also to the kids, I'm sorry, the students involved and the rest of the world.

Just rubbed this old man the wrong way.

PS But then I received an invitation to speak to one of the best amateur clubs in North America - serving their public  for about 94 years ... so my blood oressure went back down to near-normal.
