Immediately following the pre-amplifier there is a R432/435VD converter. This converter has two crystals that can be remotely controlled to produce the conversion from 432 to 434 Mhz, or from 435 to 437 Mhz down to the band from 28 to 30 Mhz. The noise figure is below 2.2 dB, the conversion gain is 25 dB, the image rejection is larger than 25 dB.
