John isn't doing LoTW for this trip.
However, LoTW does support up to four grids per QSO, so you would ordinarily just enter both grids into your logging software for the QSO.
Also, there is no need for you to enter the other station's grids to upload to LoTW. Grids come solely from the station location set when uploading the QSOs and aren't part of the matching logic.
