Over the years of amsat-bb, the topic to 13cm operation has come up several times.
Out of curiosity, what does the noise floor look like when pointed at the sky? Is 2.4 GHz a good band for satellite downlinks, or is it impossible to get away from the 802.11 wlan traffic in an urban setting?
