If a company is willing to spend his money flying a golf ball could be they will be willing to donate if they can have their logo on an amateur satellite?
I agree that if we had someone that knew the right person and asked in the right way, that we could find corporate sponsors for our amateur satellites. See my idea below for a Golf Ball satellite.

But now that someone beat us to it, I doubt another golf ball company will respond. But why not an amateur satellite in a COKE cooler, or a PEPSI 6-pack?
It just takes an amateur radio salesman to get out here and drum up the business. They would be sponsoring an educational mission. The communications of the amateur payload would have NOTHING to do with their advertising campaign other than the photos of their logo in space. There would be no pecuniary interest in the "communications provided".
So many ideas, so little time... Bob, Wb4APR _______________________________________________ Sent via AMSAT-BB@amsat.org. Opinions expressed are those of the author. Not an AMSAT-NA member?
