I am new at this and would like to find the plans to build a simple homebrew antenna to be able to use satellites. I know there are probably several so can you direct me to some of the simple and easiest and best? THANKS
Simple. Go and find a page on WA5VJB "Cheap Yagi" designs, and build a 2m and 70cm one sharing a boom, 90 degrees apart. Build a wee diplexer (HB9ABX's design is good) if you want to feed both aerials to the same radio, or just work split.
Dead easy. A good, fun weekend project that you can make out of stuff you have lying around (or maybe a quick trip to the local DIY store).
