MikePSK31 yes and it is pretty much free form. However one cool thing that Bob indicated last week which I have suspected since last year is that PSAT2 becomes a bent pipe once it detects PSK31. N8URE has sent SSTV and Hellschreiber type waterfall text which was then decoded using Fldigi to PSAT2. The part I suspected which he confirmed last week was that you can also send SSB voice to PSAT2 and theoretically it should send that audio back down. If I misunderstood what Bob said then I take that back but the way I understand it and we have proven that it will send whatever it hears once PSK31 is detected back down over FM.--On Mon, Feb 8, 2021 at 12:31 AM Mike Lucas <documike@comcast.net> wrote:I’ve been trying to figure out the correct process to engage NO-84 so testing for understanding here.
I can hear occasional PSK-31 in short bursts but have not been able to decode it yet.
I want to make sure I understand what settings to use.
Downlink USB & use FLDigi etc. for decode PSK-31
Receive downlink is USB?
What part of the spectrum Is the downlink typically in (Hz)?
Uplink is on 10 Meters USB also or LSB?
Assuming FLDigi will work PSK-31 fine for Uplink also?
What do I send on uplink, just station ID?
Thanks & look forward to having another bird to play with.
