Les,
Good deal on your order. It was fun to build, and yes, the price is hard to beat.
I bought a DIN connector and cable to connect the controller to the G-5500B from an ebay seller. It was low price too. That's how I connected mine.
I'm looking forward to the IC-9700 and plan to use an Alpha Delta coax switch for my 2m and 70cm antennas so I can use the SDRPlay as a receiver when desired.

Bob,
I just ordered the Fox Delta ST2 USB controller based on your recommendation. The price is hard to beat too!
How difficult is it to wire up the connecting cable for the Yaesu G-5500b?
I’m currently using an Icon IC-910H, but hope to upgrade to the IC-9700 later this year. I’m trying to rig up an interface to allow me to use an SDRPlay RSP2 for receive now.
Hope to work you on the birds soon. Let me know how you like that IC-9700. Thanks again!

Les, I recently finished the Fox Delta ST2 USB controller and am quite happy with it. I use a G5500B and SatPC32. Still waiting for the Icom IC-9700 so I can get on the air. All I have hooked up now is a SDRPlay rsp2.

With a lot of help from Marcus Thomas, KF4YHP I finally completed the installation of my Yaesu G-5500B Az-El rotor tonight. This will allow my 432, 2 Meter, and 1296 antennas inside my attic to finally track satellites throughout their passes.
I’d like to have computer control of the rotor using SatPC32. Can anyone point me towards an assembled interface that will work well?
Saw this on ebay, but not sure how well it will work with SatPC32. Any thoughts?
