LoTW won't accept the contact if the satellite is not on the list. It will show an error and won't be added to your log. You'll just have to sit on those contacts until the satellite is added. The up to date list is always at https://lotw.arrl.org/lotw-help/frequently-asked-questions/#sats

I understand that the only satellites that are eligible for LOTW credit are the ones on the accepted list. If I upload a QSO with SO-125 satellite will it go in the bit bucket or will it get credited once SO-125 is added to the list? Anyone have any ideas?
