There are two holes in the top of the case. Looking at the front panel of the radio as you would use it, the "reset" switch is under the LEFT hole. Turn the power off, and slide the switch to the LEFT for approx 30 seconds. This will clear all memories and reset the microprocessor. Slide it back to the RIGHT, and power up the radio, and reprogram it. This is on page 12 of the FT-736R manual I have. 73, Jim KQ6EA
