Dishwashers, and most ‘appliances’ are exempt from Part 15. You can see a list here: https://www.compliancegate.com/fcc-part-15-product-list/
There has been a great deal of discussion on the RFI email reflector about this fact. Some manufacturers are known to be quite helpful. Some other manufacturers are very quick to say – we are exempt leave us alone…
Ed Hare and the ARRL are very responsive, and have good relationships with many of the manufacturers.

One avenue of attack would be to contact the manufacturer. It's an electrical device. It should have been subject to part 15 certification. The RFI would seem to be an indicator that it's not compliant. The ARRL can probably provide some assistance as well. I know they have been helpful with the issue of RFI from grow lights here in Washington. 73, Grant KB7WSD

It is a Frigidaire Galley Model number FGID2468UF1A (in case you want to avoid this model).
I tried wrapping the power cord, which is a flat, about an inch wide 3 pronged AC cord through a rectangle torrid I have on hand that would split in half for easier access. I could fit 2 turns of the cord through it. That didn't make a difference. I have a larger ring torrid but the plug on the cord is a little too large to fit through it. I am sure I could get a larger diameter torrid if I thought it would work.
So, what is the best plan of attack on the RFI-other than just unplugging the dishwasher when I am not using it. I can probably only get 2 or 3 turns max through a ring torrid due to the length of the cord. Is this the best solution for RFI, or what other methods can I try?
