...these are NOT dual-band radios. There is a VHF model and a UHF model, but no dual-band model. You can read the eHam review quoted above yourself, but to summarize, most folks seemed to think it was a decent radio for the price, as long as they didn't really need dual-band operation, could put up with the mangled English of the manual, and used the software to program it instead of fighting with the buttons to program it...
