I have a 500 ft roll of "Wonderful" brand RG-62A/U in the garage that I picked up somewhere. For anyone that needs a piece, just send to my QRZ address an appropriate SASE and I will return a 10 ft piece of this coax for free. If so moved, you can include a donation to AMSAT or send one directly to Martha. I don't expect 50 requests, but when I get to 30 or so I'll warn everyone I'm running out.

AMSAT members, and LEO satellite antenna builders:
K5OE's article in the January / February 1999 issue of The AMSAT Journal shows RG-62/U used in the construction of the 'Texas Potato Masher' antenna for LEO satellites.

RG-62/U was used for many years as the physical media between IBM cluster controllers (3174/3274) and 3270 terminals. So this cable was very common is IBM data centers until past decade as mainframe access has moved from IBM's SNA to open standard LAN technologies. RG-62/U 93 ohm coaxial cable (95% braid coverage) being sold in 100 and 250 foot spools. TOM NURMI 15145 SE 180th STREET WEIRSDALE, FL 32195
