Happy birthday to VO52 and congrats to the team for designing and implimenting such a great satellite. VO52 doesn't get as much use as it should in the USA, but it has an excellent downlink and is my favorite linear satellite to use. I have a simple antenna (cushcraft A270-10S dualband yagi) with no elevation and only horizontal polarization but I get great signals from VO52 and have no problem making QSOs on it when others are there. The doppler shift is fast but that is half the fun!
Heres to hoping it lasts as long as AO7!
