Hi,
Sometimes the same on this side of the Atlantic. Usually there is one, or sometimes two stations, on CW hitting the bird with enough power to make SSB signals sound choppy and distorted because they are modulating the passband AGC. The point of CW is that it takes LESS power for a solid QSO. Or should.
