Hi George,
Yes, I would kindly help on the website team, I already run our local RAYNET website www.sehr.co.uk and also perform satellite presentations and demos that I have created at local clubs, groups and shows..
I also totally agree with you on the donations side, but I have only been a member for two months at AMSAT UK and a member on the AMSAT BB for a year to get a feel of it.. I know I come across as moaning, but its only because i have the energy and excitment.. This year I plan to try my hand at the linear birds using a portable setup, will start small and see what happens..
I would just hate for us to lose the satellites and future ones..
Thanks, and if anyone can let me know how to get onvolved, i would gladly help..
Chris

Sorry to rant, and please dont flame me, but I joined AMSAT to get more information and get involved! This doesnt make me want to donate to something I cannot see or know about..
Thats my pennies worth....
Chris
Look at it this way, Chris: the more people who join/donate, the more resources there are available to build & launch satellites, and to keep the web sites up to date! You say you joined to get involved: if you see a need, how about stepping up to fill it? AMSAT needs people just as much as it needs money... Do you have the skills to volunteer to be part of the Web site team?
