Yes it has a satellite mode.

Will be interesting to see if it also has a satellite mode, but based on the number (910 + another 0 added) I assume it will. Let's see how this compares to the many built-in DSP features of the TS-2000X. The TS2000 was (one of) the most feature rich radios when it was launched. ICOM now has had the opportunity (8+ years later) to take advantage of all the SDR developments and ICs that came available in the past years.
