Hey everyone,
Wow ... the interference was brutal on that last pass (AO-27 "turned on" during the 20:04 UTC minute).
Before we lost AO-27 last September, I remember it being routine to hear Spanish-speaking stations that obviously were not ham-related on passes to my west. Several of us used to joke about the "Taxi drivers south of the border."
This just sounded like a very strong carrier, although I did hear a few beeps and blips here an there, suggesting the possibility of some kind of digital transmission.
Here's hoping it was an anomaly.
