To be honest, I disliked the D72 full duplex mode. I preferred using 2 radio's, one being a D74A since it has a built in recorder; less wires for the win.

There is the IC-2730A mobile radio, but if you are already going to have a TS-2000 in portable setup you already have a higher powered radio.
