Kenwood mobile radios and HTs only have 5 kHz steps and no PC frequency tune. You have to manually tune, but it works OK. You might miss a packet or two while tuning, though.

I use Ham Radio Deluxe for satellite tracking and Doppler correction. I don't see the TM-710 rig control list, so it may not work. I'm guessing it might if one selects one of the other Kenwood radios.
