[amsat-bb] AO-7 "situation"

Just got off AO-7, it really sounds not too good.  Weak and distorted audio.  Like not enough voltage from the 35 year old solar cells.  Heard eveything from response to a CME event to being in mode C to being hit by whatever.  The audio distortion does not depend on the uplink power, it sounds distorted weather I ran very minimum power or more.  I know we are simply "blessed" to have this old bucket of bolts for our enjoyment.  Perhaps some our experts on the bb can shed some of their expertise on what's going on with this old bucket.
