Good morning ballooners, educators, and Hams,
I’m Nick Pugh, ARS K5QXJ, the industry representative for the satellite team at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and a long-time member of AMSAT.
We have a common interest in STEM education and use balloons to light the sparks of students' interest in science.
My wish for when the Lord boosts me into higher orbit is that someone will say “he encouraged the next Carl Sagan.”
One of the things I have learned is “If you want to go fast, go alone. But if you want to go far, then go as a group.”
So I’d like to propose a Zoom call next Monday at 7 p.m. CST via https://us02web.zoom.us/j/3536368272?pwd=ZUg3SmVBaStacXEvWVBBUlhPdmdtdz09
Please RSVP to all on this email if you can join the call to express your ideas to further our mutual goals.
