The first thing to do is to isolate the problem. Is it the az motor, the az cable, or the az side of the control box?

To see if it’s the az motor, connect the az motor to the el cable and try to move the az motor with the el control levers. If the az motor won’t move, then the problem is in the az motor.

If the az motor does move, then the problem is in either the az cable or az side of the control box.

To see if it’s the az cable, re connect the az motor to the az cable but now connect the other end of the az cable to the el side of the control box. Attempt to move the az motor using the el controls. If the motor moves, the fault is in the az side of the control box. If the motor doesn’t move, the fault is in the az cable.

Once you have isolated the problem, you know what piece of gear to work on. GL and 73,

Hello,

today after done a couple of satellites,

I have noticed that the Antenna did not go to the parking position on the Azimuth side.

I have tried to move them manually with the Azimuth Left and Right switches on the Control box

But the antennas did not move.
The Elevation side is OK.
Please what could it be? Something in the Control Box?

What can I try to see if the problem belongs from the control box in the shack or from

The rotator on the roof?
Any help will be really appreciated.
Thanks
