Starting Sunday or Monday, I'm on a little family trip from Tampa up to Marianna, FL, then just south of Columbus, GA, then across to Savannah, GA, and up to Charleston, SC to see the Yorktown, then back home down I95. There are more than a few rarely heard grids along the route that I can activate. Right now plans definitely include FM02/03. This is a family trip, not a dedicated rover operation, but it's fairly easy to get in passes early in the morning or late at night, or pull over for a few minutes while driving. I prefer FO-29 and SO-50 and will generally operate around 435.875 downlink on FO-29. Spin that VFO and come find me.
If you need something along this route, drop me an email before Sunday afternoon. I'll be tweeting my stops and intentions from @glasbrenner on Twitter (twitter.com/glasbrenner).
Unless I get overly ambitious, QSLs will be paper only via an SASE to my QRZ address. Please, please, please include the grid I was in on your card.
