Have you been wanting to pair up a second FT-817 as a downlink RX to go with your first 817/818? This radio has virtually no RF output but the RX works fine on all bands, HF/VHF/UHF. It is in EXCELLENT cosmetic condition, and includes all the original Yaesu accessories including the microphone (in case you want to repair the TX?), rubber-duck 2M/70CM antenna, shoulder strap, FBA-28 internal holder for eight AA cells, user manual and even the original shipping box.. It is equipped with a Powerpole adapter for the 12VDC input. I don't remember any FT-817 tuning knobs that are free-wheeling (spin under their own weight?) and this is no different but easily turns with two fingers.
