Malcolm,
The keps update is a witch to figure. Using the keps update button does not get you the best keps. It calls a batch file called "getkeps" that is located in the Unitrac directory. Best I can figure the software wonts this button pushed every 30 days or you get an old keps message when you open the program. My way around this is to click the button when it says this and then go into the directory and redo things myself. You can have a look at the batch file and you will see the process it calls up.
As for using PCsat32 or Nova there is a section in the manual on this. It requires calling a DDL control. If you have the "getting started quick" file it is in there. I have done it with Wisp32 and it works fine. If you don't have it I can send it to you.
Hope you get it going. It works great after you learn the way of it.

I recently purchased the unit and program from Spectrum International after my 15 year old AEA tracker box failed from salt air, Africa dust, and heat exposure here in the Virgin Islands.
I get a repeated messages from the software that the keps file cannot be accessed although the file is installed in the same directory as the program and the Main Configuration file set-up is as shown in the manual. Has anyone experienced this? I've tried everything I can think of to make it work - new 2line kep file, putting it in another directory and referencing it, downloading and re installing the program. The program does sometimes show the azimuth and elev of a bird and the G5400B but beyond that it doesn't work.
Can anyone out there give me a clue?
Will the box interface with NOVA or SatPC32 even though the Uni-Trac program doesn't work?
